Powercore Electrical is a specialist Electrical, Controls, and Building Management Systems contractor based on Auckland’s North Shore.

We deliver complex commercial and industrial projects across Auckland and surrounding regions, specialising in Electrical for Mechanical (E4M), HVAC controls, Building Management Systems, automation, service, and electrical installations.

Your Role Will Include

• Managing multiple electrical and controls projects from award through to completion
• Financial management of projects including forecasting, budgeting and cost control
• Programming and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and internal labour resources
• Client liaison and relationship management
• Attending site meetings and coordinating with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
• Procurement and equipment management
• Managing contract administration, variations, progress claims and project reporting
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements
• Mentoring and supporting site teams, apprentices and supervisors
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and project performance

What We Need From You

• Electrical trade qualification, NZCE, Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Strong understanding of contracts, project financials and project controls
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• The ability to build trust with clients, suppliers and team members
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• A practical mindset with the ability to solve problems under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
• Experience with HVAC controls, Building Management Systems, E4M or automation projects would be highly advantageous
• A commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement
